I am after some electrical connectors, that can be fitted to the sportscar, in a convienent position with out removing the bonnet, and also my jump leads,

But what are these connectors called ?

Anderson connectors. Will look for some piccies for you

Here you are. Use them on mines. Frome battery to one of these and then from there to a set of crocodile clips . This allows you to jump your motor from another and vice versa. I also have made one from my battery charger so I can plug it in over winter to keep the battery conditioned.

Is this to connect a battery conditioner when the cars not in use?

Anderson connectors appear to be the style i was after, but do they come in pairs, ie male and female ?

It was more so i can jump, or jump another car without taking the bonnet off,

Not in pairs you just buy 2 if you look at the pic they are marked + and - You then take one rotate it 180 degrees and turn it upside down. Then the + and - are aligned again. Solder or crimp the terminals to the wires and slide them in from the back the correct way up and a metal tang locks them in place ( can be removed if you want if you get them wrong as well) We use them at work all the time as tailift connectors between artics and trailers.

Powervamp usually have them at Stoneleigh show. There's several different CONNECTORS

(Link doesn't go direct for some reason. They're on page 6)
