Whatever loom I buy, I will need to tailor it to the following 3 requirements, so which loom is going to be best to meet my requirements?

1) Fireblade engine loom to splice in.

2) Digidash.

3) Lots of switches as I'm not using any stalks.

At the moment, Premier, Vicky Green or that expensive module from Car Builders Solution are in the running - unless anyone else has a better idea...

I'm installing a Premier loom at the moment. No problems so far despite being an electrical numpty. Have found them to be very helpful. Shouldn't be any problem with all the switches. Don't know about the Fireblade loom and digidash but I'd be willing to bet they would help you accomodate these.

Don't fancy the build it yourself route.

I used a Premier loom on the Avon and found it easy, so may go this route and adapt it to suit switches instead of stalks - unless anyone comes up with another suggestion.

I used the bike loom as a base when I did mine, and built the rest to suit. It isn't rocket science. Just place all the components where you want them in the car, take your time and off you go! I used the Haynes wiring diagram as support.

It's in the spirit of Locostery after all!

I'm using an Autosparks loom...
All straight forward and no problems. Connected up to a Pinto, Sierra switchgear and an ETB Digidash

get yourself a sierra loom, name some dates, and i'll come and give you a hand. i found building my own loom to be one of the most beneficial and rewarding things to do.

do you know what every wire on the avon does, purely on colour and position in the car? does your loom run exactly where you want it?

go on, if you can build a chassis, a loom should be a doddle
