Bulbs ?

emsfactory - 3/1/06 at 08:22 PM

relay, bad connections, shorting, broken wire.
could just be sulking.

The bulbs are oke,

There is no broken wire i could check for short circuit.

Thanks

start at the stalk to see if youve got power coming out
it must be goin in as the otherside works

Hello,

The stalk is oke.

But when i short the wires in front of the stalk then the indicators did'nt work either.

is the left not flashing or not coming on atall

the left is not coming on at all.

Thinking about this logically;

1. Power from Battery to Hazard Switch
2. Power through Hazard switch to switching relay (ON/OFF)
3. From switching relay to stalk. (1 wire)
4. Through stalk to either side (now two wires) through warning bulb (must be wired in parallel)
5. Bulbs flash

Logically it is 4 given that the right hand side works.

Do you have bulbs in left side otherwise all you will get is buzzing from flasher relay.

Failing that check wiring again as it is wrong from stalk. Check LHS output on stalk when live using voltmeter.

Actually - those warning lights (dash lights) look like they are wired in series therefore if a bulb goes down one side will not work could be that!!!!
