Is your speedo reading accurate.

I have one, never been able to get it working properly. It learns all the gears ok but as soon as i rev past 2000rpm it loses them. Pretty useless....

speedo works fine, alltho its on another proxi sensor its seeing the nodes a giving a signal fine, rev counter also works fine. wiring looks sound too.

good news someone had it working fine, it just seems the trend is that its not very good.

i do hit neutral between it learning 1st and 2nd and it learns then quickly, but i drove 3 or 4 miles trying different revs (and holding there for a while) and i gave up.

i did mine and found it easier to put the car on axel stands and run the car at around 4000 rpm works a treat saves all the hassle of driving on the road and concerntrting to get it wright.

i will say it finds it harder to get the gears wright at low rpm as it sometimes cannot differenciate the pulses at low rpm.

i did it on axle stands originaly. But it still didnt do 3rd gear (at 4000 rpm). Might try it again and hold it at 9000 rpm. damn thing.
