How do you dynamically measure dwell angle on a points based dizzy?
I've seen plenty of multimeters around with dwell on them, but what's it actually measuring?
I've got a couple of multimeters (including PC based) and am reluctant to buy another just for this feature.

I think it measures how long there is a circuit for - i.e. if dwell angle is 20 degrees, points will be closed for 20 out of 360 degrees.
Maplins do an automotive multi meter with dwell on it.

Have to agree, get the Valencia distributor sorted
Ok, I'll give the valencia jobbie another go!!
Anyone know of a cheap supplier of electronic modules?

Partco if you can get trade price
I use the Aldon Ignitor approx £65 - replaces points, dead easy to set up, sits under dizzy cap.
There may be cheaper ones but I am not sure where to look
