Hi all, Am making up me dash and have a set of old looking smiths classic gauges to use, the ones with a slightly pointed front bezel (that will be in set into the dash to satisfy sva regs) I'm after a wiring dagram for these gauges as they don't have any markings on them, Tacho has been worked out, am after info on the fuel gauge and temp gauge . I'm also thinking I might need a voltage regulator ???

You probably will need a regulator, was it a square blob on the back of one of the gauges?

What about a Mini or MG Midget manual that could have all the info

all edges on anything on the dash must be radiused to 2.5 mm if im not mistaken, unless you put it in the exempt area behind the steering wheel

Am ok with the dash radius, I'm doing a double layer dash with the clocks fitted to the lower dash, the bezels will then be within the thickness of the top dash
Regulator, Nothing fitted to the gauges when i got them as for mini or mgb diagrams,,, good idea
Fuel gauge has two conectors, 1 from tank and other switched live from reg???
Temp gauge has three conectors, they seam to have continuaty between them all ????
Gauge cases to earth seam to work for illumination
