Is it worth it??? who regrets buying one and who regrets not buying one?
cheers
I just got back from Stoneleigh with one of their looms and see this thread, that gave me a mild panic attack.
After havign a quick look at it in the garage tonight it looks pretty good, certainly a lot better than the 30 year old loom that was in my Dutton!
I've just ordered one at Stoneleigh (somebody bought the last one before I got there
)
Anyway I hope this thread turns out positive
It wasn't me, I bought the last but 1!
When I have the time to start my wiring I'll post an update.
I didnt buy a loom and it didnt take me long to do the wiring on my car at all. I just used all the wiring from the bike and added in a few essential extras such as hazzards and fof lamps.
My mate bought one over a year ago for his kit, although we hav'nt got round to actually wiring it up, we marked and layed out all the
connections and different spurs, a very good bit of kit, easily understandabe, good quality. Even the helplines free is'nt it?
Who's Vicky Green anyway

I've had my premier loom a couple of weeks, just got round to pulling it out of the bag.
All the hard work is done with all the relay plugs fitted as well as fuse box, lots of extra bits for a neat fitment and very good instructions.
The only problem i have is with the original parts i've kept and need, its the ford module/amp wires that confuse as the haynes manual is of no
help at all.
Any clues as to where the 6 wires go would be a great help ?
I've got an Escort mk4 loom which, although I'm in the early stages, looks like it'll work straight out. Just got to remove things
like the door switches, interior light and tie up the wiper/washer/heater section for future expansion. Big advantage of it is ££££!

I used a Premier Loom on my stuart taylor, (car engine) No problems at all, they even supply extra cable for a pressure brake switch if your ask. VERY
good wiring documentation, the only wiring not on the loom was for a panic switch for my rad fan.
Everything worked and is SVA friendly (eg brake warning lamp test is handbrake, and fog light circuit
