there have been quite a few references to 'trunking'. Is there a problem with good old fashioned insulation tape wrapping and P clips?

Also - best place to route rear loom left/right? Behind the tank?

Insulation tape is not the best for wrapping your loom as it goes all sticky after a while.

I'm not sure what it is called but you can get the proper loom tape from various suppliers.

The advantage of using trunking or convoluted tubing is that you can get access to the loom at a later date without ruining your wrapping.

I've used split convuluted tubing from vehicle wiring products to cover my loom and then secured it to the chassis with rubber lined stainless P clips. Where wires need to enter/exit the tubing I have protected them with loom tape again from vwp. Easy to do and as mentioned makes it easy if you need to add or re-route wires in the future.

Proper loom tape only sticks to itself like amalgamating tape, just use a bit of insulting tape to anchor it at the start.
