Sierra fuel sender
paulbeyer - 13/7/03 at 05:24 PM

I need to know what the resistance range is for a sierra fuel sender. I need the max and min values in ohms so I can match up an after market unit. If someone out there has one that they could measure I'd like to hear from you.

Cheers

C'mon guys I did a search of the archives for info and found I asked the very same question back in April. Back then a reply would have been nice but now it's f***ing urgent, I need to make a start on my wiring.

Paul,

I have one somewhere. If I can lay my hands on it tomorrow, I'll measure the range for you.

Regards, Ian.

Burp, Belch....

Tank Full

white-blue 360
white-green 210
blue-green 170

Tank Empty

white-blue 200
white-green 160
blue-green 290

with the tank empty the blue-green goes off the scale at the very last bit, the 290 is the last readable

Sorry it took so long but couldn't find the sender!!!!!!!!

Mark
