Just pondering and futher confusing myself.

I've got 7 savage switches:

Sidelights
Headlights
Main Beam
Fog
Start
Horn
Hazard

I've also got the following warning lamps on my digidash:

Main Beam
Indicators
Battery
Fog
Aux
Parking

Shall I get all my switches to light up when you switch on side lights or only get each switch to light up when it's pressed?

My wiring diagram shows all switches illuminated when you switch on the sides, but that then leaves no indicator to show when headlights are on.

Best solution I can think of is to have all switch lights off and when I press side lights, that switch lights up on it own.

Then when you press headlights, all switches illuminate.

Does that all make sense?

Ermmm ......... its really up to you which way you do it but I just connected all of my switch lights together and feed them from the sidelights. I have separate warning lights for brake, fan & heater functions but you could be clever and have two levels of lights for night & day conditions. There was a long running thread somewhere and this was discussed to all sorts of ott-ness

As i seem to remember there are the following requirements for SVA:

- Warning light for main beam (never understood in english which one that is, I mean the strongest lights)

- Warning light for foglight

- Warning light for brakefluid. You need to be able to test this, either by a separate button, or (most commonly used) by also using this light as a handbrake warning light.

Other than that I don't seem to recall any requirements.

i wired mine all from the side lamp switch, most cars don't have a dip beam warning and you will know if you have turned them on, also if your'e using the bike loom you can't leave the headlamps on anyway, but i can see where your comeing from
