In sva manual it says reverse lights are optional, must face rearwards and be a white light and there must be 2.
What is doesn't say is where they should go!
I thought I would put them on the back panel, at either side at the same level as the light cluster on the wings. This would mean they are >400mm
from the edge and <500mm apart (just).
As they don't specify positioning (as they do for most lists) am I going to be SVA proof or have they revised this section of the manual?
I'm not bothering with reverse light, since the manual says optional i thought it best to keep it simple.
I'll put them on after the SVA maybe, then they can go anywhere i supose.
You don't need two. My car passed with one like many others. Put it level with the rear hazard to match it up.
yours, Pete.
my vintage 2000 sva manual doesnt mention reversing lights at all.
I have put mine in a symetrical position to my single rear fog light.
yes - i have got that far.
still loads else to do tho
