MT 75 electronic speedo drive.

There are three wires into a plug coming from the side of the gearbox,1 black, 1 brown and 1 yellow. I know that these are for a speedo drive and this is what I had planned to use. Am I right in thinking that the brown would be the + feed, the black would be the - and the yellow is the signal to the speedo? Just need to confirm it before I connect it all up!
Thanks .
john.

On my MT75 the speedo drive is mechanical....i.e. a cable drive, the electronic device with the 3 wires is for speed sensor to the ECU. Or have I got that wrong, but I have the cable and the connection on my gearbox which is definitely a MT75.

My MTX75 has only got the speed sensor (didn't know it had a cable too) and I used it to feed the Evodash.
My connections are:

Brown - Ground
Black/brown - +ve
Yellow/brown - Signal
