Anyone know where i can buy a 9 pin D type ribbon cable Male to female?

The ends of the lead that came with my engine management are a bit long and i am strapped for space

In previous jobs I have made 25- and 9-way cables using ribbon cable and snap-on connectors.

If you know someone in the computer and/or communications business they may be able to help.

Otherwise, if you're good at small soldering jobs, you could make up a conventional cable using parts from Maplins (if it would fit, that is).

David

Yea, thanks. Ill take a trip to maplin tomorrow. Was just hoping to buy a cable off the shelf save me making my own. Lazy I guess :-)

a standard serial cable is 9pin D-type male to female, you can pick these up for pennies if you shop around.
