Alrite chaps,

For people that have gone down the megajolt route, bit of direction needed please.

Where can I get the megajolt bits and board from for a TPS megajolt set up? I see the unit selling as complete for circa £100 but surely theres suppliers that sell as a kit to be soldered? £100 seems a bit pricey to me.

Ta very much!

£100 is a bargain and worth every penny.

Omex , Alpa , Dunnell ect ect

You wont see change out of £450

You can build it cheaper if you make 10 as some bits have a min order quantity. Get one ready made and tested. There are a couple of guys around here that could sort you out

Imho

With exchanges rates working io our favour, you can buy direct from USA

Autosport Labs

Allow about another £20 - £25 if you are unfortunate to be hit for import duty.

You should be able to do it for a lot less especially if you can aquire the coil pack, crank sensor, EDIS4 and TPS cheaply. I used a Zetec 1.8 in my last 2 Westfields and only needed an EDIS4 as the rest was with the engine.

The PCB and components was about £30 plus delivery from Bill Shurvinton from the WSCC forum but that was a few years ago. Not sure if he still does them.
A case was under a tenner from Maplin.

Pretty sure Bill Shurvinton still does them, he's certainly still doing Megasquirts etc. Stick his name in google and you'll find his email.
