Evening all....
Building a Tiger Cat, and I've got a problem with the switches. The ones Tiger supply are a bit odd, with a D shaped connector with 2 or more
pins. I can't find a decent supplier online for these and I want to replace them.
However....
I don't want to spend £150 on Savage switches and thought about using the same idea that is on the new Mini like this...
So can anyone see a problem with the SVA...? Ideally, I want to use a switch similar to these...
ANyone see a problem...? Thinking of making sure the switch tips can't be touched by the SVA testers magic ball...
Cheers
Pete
If you do it like the mini one's, i cant see you having any problems, just make sure , what you use to shroude the switches has a decent radius.
Spyker do the same trick

Personally I think it would pass fine (BMW did the guard for the same reason), but I'm not a tester
Cheers for the comments
I planned to look at a slightly different setup, using bars above and below the switches, rather than in between each one.
Think B&Q stainless steel cupboard handles....
Anyone know where you can get a SPST momentary toggle switch..?
Cheers

I used some of these
Switches
Wouldnt it be just as easy to do an "SVA dash" to get you through the test, then another one to put it all how you really want it?
