Wiring

At last found some time to start connecting up the wiring on my Indy-Fireblade. On the Honda wiring diagram I have a green/white & green/orange wire going to the clutch switch. As I will not use the clutch switch (don't I) does this circuit need to be closed (ie join them together) or open (ie isolate them)?. This will be the first of many questions methinks, but please answer this one.
Thanks lads (maybe ladies)

You might like to consider keeping the clutch switch and connect it up as your neutral light on a dashboard light

It will then show you when and if you hit neutral - save you having to flick through the box of gears trying to find it - it might also help you to not look silly when you forget its in gear and you try to start it up in gear

if you mount it like on the bike you mount it like it is thought to be for.

sow i woun't never short it or blank it of.

you still have a clutch sow use the switch.

for starting in gear you will need it.

also there are bikes wich engine performance differs when clutch is in or not etc. etc. etc.

Tks

join the clutch switch wires together, so it will start in gear if you stall it and can't get it into neutral.
and the side stand switch wires together, green to green/white
