Side Repeaters

Where have people got their side repeaters (as in the oval shaped jobbers on the side of the scuttle) from as I know Halfords sell them but I'm not sure if they're BS rated or whatever it is I can't remember now. They're kept behind a glass panel so I can't just open the box and it doesn't show a rating.

Find a set off a Ford KA...

Think I paid £2 for mine from a scrappy!

Really good and easy to fit!

None of them appear to have any markings on them at first glance. Does this actually matter? Have yours passed through SVA yet Coozer?

Strictly speaking you don't need E markings on any of your lights as long as they are deemed suitable by Mr SVA - ie bright enough for the job intended.

Mine are home built LED jobbies and they passed ok.

Hmm. Why didn't I think of that Tegwin? Probably because I've fell out with the scrappy but I could always visit another. Hmmm. Switch on me! Cheers

Scrappy?

A trip to nearest Tesco with a Swiss Army penknife.

well I was going to suggest that...

The other alternative is to fit wide angle yellow LEDs into your wing mirrors

No, but the website says SVA OK so i presume they will be alright. they do look exactly like oem stuff.

I re-used the ones of my Sierra donor car. Not the prettiest I'll admit, but fine for the job and no probs at SVA either.
