I'm doing a favour for a friend who runs a stable. She's got a Leyland Daf 45 150 Turbo. The indicators were being very unpredictable so I
offered to have a look. The hazards work fine, fuses and relays are fine. Then I looked at the actual indicator lever on the steering column. It has
loads of play in it, it's pretty obvious that that is the problem
Anyway, I took it apart and loads of tiny springs, ball bearings, little bits of plastic fly everywhere (some are lost, and when I say lost i mean
they flew out the door into thick grass never to be found again)
So does anyone know where I can get parts for such a vehicle (these small indicator switch components) and maybe a diagram of how they go together?

stanley r harris are an HGV/PSV parts suppliers in glasgow (i'm sure they must do delivery if needed) I'm not a HGV driver, but i went in to
ask about LED rear lights, and they were very helpful.
I don't know if they'll be able to do you the bits to repair that one, but i'm sure they could do you a new stalk if you're really
stuck?

Superb, this is why not to volunteer to fix things, wait till you try to put it back together!
Locost option - remove the stalk and fit a rocker switch on the dash, not as convenient and you lose self-cancelling, but better than nowt!

Try your local DAF dealer - mine still gets spares for my 1988 roadrunner when I want them, and mostly reasonable.

Maybe post a pic of what's left of the indicator switch, pound to a penny it's used on other vehicles, and someone might recognise it,
