Who knows what you have to do when you have a electric VDO speedo in combination with a type 9 gearbox, which obviously uses a mechanical pulse.

Is there a special part for it to get the pulse converted from mechanical to electrical?

An adapter from burtons then a standard ford sensor.

ps its a hall efect sensor, make sure your speedo will take the signal and that you have room to get it in the tunnell.

I am using a telemetrix speedo and it seems to work a treat, very smooth and no magnets to loose. (mt75 already has the sensor built in)
