Acewell

Anyone got a wiring diagram for a 3100 unit.
Wire colours are
red
brown
black
blue
white
yellow
green.

I can't get the speedo to work?? or find my original diagram are there 2 wires for the speedo?? Or does the reed switch need a live to it and a feed back through the green to count the pulses.
I'm fecked if I can find one on the net that suits a 3100 unit.
As usual guys and galls thanks in advance.

Hi There
As you may (or may not!) know I sell these. TBH it's very unusual to get anything go wrong with the actual head unit, are you sure you haven't got a faulty reed switch (I do stock them) or possibly the wiring could be damaged somewhere.
It is VERY important to have the magnet passing in line with the casting line in the plastic or some strange readings can result, only other thing I can think of is has the calibration been set to an extreme & it simply isn't going quick enough to measure a reading - typical wheel circumference is around the 1500 - 2300 area. HTH

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1
