Power connections

I'm getting on well with the wiring but have a bit of a difficulty... I am wiring from the battery to a 170 AMP FIA switch which means that I have to have 3 wires on the the isolated side of the switch, the starter supply, the alternator wire and the main feed to a power relay. The power relay is there so that I have very little switching current for the ignition switch but it does mean I have 3 or so cables on the posts. Crimping this number of cables into a single crimp and being able to insulate the terminal with a boot is becoming a pain. What have people done to over come the prolem. On one side of the isolator I have two 70 Amp and one 170 amp cables to connect. One of the 70 amp goes to the alternator and the other is the feed to the power relay. The cables may be a bit of an overkill size wise but they were part of the supplied loom. The studs on the FIA switch are 10mm and on the power relay 6mm where I am also struggling to crimp multiple cables to a single crimp.

any ideas

Too reduce the cables, why not run your alternator cable to the other end of the starter lead where it goes on the starter?
Don't forget that you will need to use an fia switch with the resistor and terminals to discharge the alternator when you switch off. This protects the alternator diodes and provides an ign switch off, otherwise the engine will run on, even with the battery disconnected.

Can't you just crimp each wire into its own terminal and then stack them on the switch?

I'd crimp individual eye connectors to individual cables and attach them to the switch one by one....
