I have a mk2 escort handbrake lever with a universal type switch on it which came from an ldv van. Best to use the one that should be on your lever. Ie sierra lever with sierra switch.

The brake ligh switch it a hydraulic one mounted in a t piece near my reservoir.

I'm also using a hydraulic brake light switch, fitted into a T piece in the front brake circuit.

Then a generic, lever operated switch which I grafted onto the Toyota Corolla parking brake lever.

1. Handbrake switch. Standard Metro handbrake which has switch included.
2. Brake Pedal switch. Ford escort mk2 pedal switch on westfield pedal box.
3. Level switch on the fluid reservoir. Standard ford reservoir
