Three yellows, red and black its just bike standard.

Fireblade ones are particularly weak though so make sure you only have a little battery and its in the airflow or it will quickly overheat and die!

Blackbird is 3 yellow wires 1 red/white and a green,

red/white live green earth,

are they as bad as the blackbird ones or better both have bad histories for it,

thanks for the reply

Thanks all for replies,

sussed it now working

was a combination of a bad earth and replaced the regulator with a fireblade one with fins,

also moved its location onto a 8"x8" piece of ali to help disipate the heat from it,

it should also get some air over it once on the move,

may get a small fan to keep it cool if a known problem didnt realise how hot they got until i picked it up after running for about 3mins

thanks again

now ready for sva
