adding resistor to flasher circuit
ive fitted LED rear lights, and am about to fit LED side repeaters too. The only filament bulb remaining in the circuit will be the front indicator. I
have load resistors to fit, i tried them across the rear light units and they work just fine.
My question is, can i fit them to the side repeater wiring? the only reason for this is they can then be under the dash (ie dry & not exposed)
Will they still work if fitted on the side repeater wiring?
or should i just stop thinking and go try it!?

resistors? NO!
You are converting electrical energy to heat. You then use up engine bhp to charge the battery. Wasteful and pointless.
Fit too small a wattage of resistor and it will get very hot, may even combust taking the car in flames with it. No.
Unchain the wallet, in the dark recesses unexplored for 15 millennia look for a blue note and a couple of gold coloured coins to buy an electronic
flasher unit.
Job done.

As above, an electronic flasher relay is the way to go. These are specifically designed for the job and work with a mix n match of LED's and
filament bulbs if needs be.

this is a commonly accepted method of using LED units on, accross the world!?
so do you have any info/links to such a unit? dont forget this is a bike loom/set up so it isnt your conventional car wiring set up.

have look at these:
http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/relays/flashers.php
providing connect the wires correctly, one of these should be a direct replacement of what you have already, unless you are using a 2 wire flasher
relay.
don't forget you may need a hazards flasher realy too.
