It's a shame they look crap when you can see them properly during the day...

They look pretty good lit up at night.

Cock off or cock on. You choose.

assuming that LEDs are 1.5v, cant you just link 15 in series and make your own? if 15 wasnt bright enough then you could double it up and run them in groups of 15...

i appreciate it would be hard to make the cases though.

The LED's are from SVC - the link to the relevant page is HERE tell 'em HELLFIRE sent ya!

The coupling regarding LED's is not so easy as the resistors have to be calculated in relation to power consumption and number. This is not to mention the E markings and stuff to satisfy Mr SVA. I hold up my hands and say we took the path of least resistance!

I don't like LED lights personally. especially indicators, the way they snap on and off without the normal incandescent bulb fade is not pleasing to my eye.
Also, I wonder if BMW LED lights flicker, they have the look of ones that do; when I move my head or eyes around the lights don't seem to track properly in my vision with the rest of the car, same sort of distracting "not quite right" messages you get from high frequency flickering lights or lasers.

I want to use incandescent bulbs on our car. just my two penneth.
