bracket for small denso alterntor - show me!

the denso alternato has 2 lugs as oposted to 3 that you normally get e.g. Lucas

Those who have fitted on, in particular to crossflow or pinto engine, please can you post photo of your bracket and what thickness steel it is made from.

Have a look on my website under August 2004 section for some pics of my Denso/Pinto mounting bracket.

Fashioned (fairly crudely) from a bit of 75x75x5 steel angle I found lying about. Doesn't look brilliant, but does the job perfectly and TBH you can't see it anyway.

I fitted one to my duratec, have a look in the thread in the engine section

Much easier to make 2 seperate brackets.

Made mine from 5mm thick, 25mm wide steel strip. Nice and solid, but not too overkill.
