Best Spark Plugs for a Zetec?

Just going to buy some new plugs for the Blacktop and automatically went for the NGK's but thought I ask as spark plug technology seems to have advanced somewhat and all sort/types are now available.

So..... what do you swear by??

Cheers Rich

I doubt spark plug technology has really moved on much. Spark plug marketing on the other hand...

I know what you mean but just thinking about the different materials like platinum, silver not to mention quad tips!

Some must perform better/reliably than others which is what I'm trying to suss out!

Cheers

Rich

Bit puffy if you ask me.. gone soft Rich?

Anyway's I goes along to Halfords and says, "Plugs for ST170 mate?"
£69.99 he says looking like its perfectly normal... I could see him peering over the counter while I picked meself off the floor.

So, I walks off with the premium option for a 'normal' 2L Focus, the ones with 4 earth thingys on them and platinum point in the middle, £25.99 or £13,65 with my trade card
