focus speedo - abs sensors front or back

hi there

does anyone now if a focus uses it abs sensors for its speedo and if so front or back?

the MK1 has a sensor in the gearbox

and I can tell you its a total PITA to get at on an IB5 box
(IB5's are on the 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 petrols)

mine is a mk1 2L zetec lump,

so you'll have a speed sensor in the side of the gearbox like mine but not exactly the same (as yours will be an MTX75 box)

its just a plastic lump with 2 wires plugged into it, should be next to the RH driveshaft and has a little mettal lock pin from the side to stop it falling out (mind you once I got the pin out it still took hours of swearing at it for the sensor itself to come out....)
