Megajolt on PC
hi,
i have just purchased my megajolt unit and cant get it to recognise on the computer. I have the latest version of the software and all the latest java
updates. i only have 1 com port on my computer anyway so i have tried them all but it still says "ERROR could not connect to megajolt on
com..."
could someone tell me if i need to have the megajolt powered to get it to recognise on the computer?
also reading past threads people have talked about the 'baud rate' needs to be the same if so what is this and how can i alter it if i can
at all!

Mate.
Did u get a cd with the megajolt software on?
Iv just had the same problem. I deleted ALL the java stuff off my pc then installed megajolt and let it install the one it wanted. Works fine
now.
You have to have power at the unit to see it..

yes you do need power on the MJ unit for the computer to see it.
