Vicki Green loom relay probs
Hi all just trying to connect up my relays for the headlights and the diagram shows relay conection numbers as 30,85,86,87 the relays supplied have
1,2,3,5 and iam not sure which is which also it shows 87 & 86 both going to the same fused supply can anybody help me thanks Richard

1 & 2 are the switching terminals.
3 & 5 are connected/switched when the relay is activated.
No reason same power source can't be used to supply 1 & 3 as long as it is up to supplying sufficient current for the headlamps. Use a
constant live source if you want the headlights available all the time. Ignition live source if you want the headlights only when ignition is on.
2 goes off to be earthed by the column switch to activate the relay.
5 goes off to the headlights to power them.
I assume you are using the later column stalks.
