Acewell update...
Ok further update,
I have spoken to the Craig on his mobile. Very pleasant chap who when I told him I had not received the gauge said he would check it out for me and
would phone back with the status.
The next day he did and explained that he had a recorded delivery slip that said the gauge had been sent to my house and since no one was there had
been taken back to the depot, (I hate when that happens as I have trailers and cars that stuff can be left safely in). Due to me not collecting it
from the depot it was then sent back to the sender. He also gave me a delivery number, which I have not admittedly checked out yet.
So he has said that it would be sent again so I will see what happens
As for me missing the first recorded delivery ‘Sorry I missed you’ slip. Hmm I can’t see that happening to be honest, there’s not much in the hall
apart from a model boat and a table and the dog doesn’t eat mail so I find that one a bit hard to buy. Also if he had recieved a not delivered slip,
why did he not try to contact me as he has my details?
Anyway we’ll see and I’ll let you know…

I don't think you'll know from the tracking number if it was your parcel though, could be anybodies.
Also, after the parcel was returned, I would have expected a refund to be issued, I presume he didn't do that? If I had I could/would believe
the story, if not, no chance.....

did a search on parcel force -
Your item with reference DH260283551GB was delivered back to sender from our BLYTH Delivery Office before 10:36 on 06/01/07
Blyth, Northumberland?
now that sounds odd, should that not be the Aberdeen Depot? and no I had no contact about refunds or anything
