side lights

hi just in the process of wiring up side lights (well amoung others) for the sva do i need to be able to have the side lights that when the car power is off you can power the left side lights by the left indicator switch and same for right, or is it just so all sidelights can be lit at the same time when power off.

sorry cant think of a way to describe it better

thanks

No, not necessary.

It's a feature on my Golf that I thought would be useful on the Locost as parking at my girlfriend's means leaving it along a very dark road.

As such I spent a *very* long time with my father who's an electronics engineer of 35years trying to work out how to do it with Sierra donor kit..... we gave up!

Cheers,
James
