What gauge wire for alternator?
As the title says really, for the main feed from alternator to battery.....

16mm wire.
got mine from VWP
near bottom of this page:

I used two parallel runs of 6 mm2 calbe -this is the largest diameter that will fit the lucas type plug with the side tags. (that is good for 100A -
the alternator is rated at 65 A so more than ample).
16 mmm2 !!!
