koso rx1n wiring
can anyone hepl me out on the following,been wiring up the above today .
although i have done most of it im stuck on a couple of bits.
brown wire (r.p.m) i have extened this round to one of the coils says in the book to connect to positive electodes ? i put the ignition on tested the
wires i have a live on each coil ,but doed the other wire on the coil become live when engine is running,im not sure which one to cnnected it too.
blade 919 rrx haynes book wires
yellow (blue trace) + black (white trace)
or other coil is
blue (white trace) + black (white trace)
last of all the speed sensor and magnets im going to have to make some sort of bracket to hold it in place nave not got much room on the output of the
engine gearchange in the way.can you put those small magnets on the middle of the propshaft (halfway along the prop tunnell)
do you stick them on with glue ?

the black/white wires are positive side of the coils.
had you thought of using the yellow/green tacho feed from the ecu instead
i would bond on the magnets with a two pack araldite type glue to clean metal.
i found a coat of hammerite smooth paint over the top helps to keep them firmly in place.
prop senser can be mounted whereever there is room. ( front middle or back)
did my digidash on the diff end and glued the magnets to the diff flange but have seen it done on the gearbox end also.

i did think about using the yellow/greem tacho wire from the ecu but i wasnt sure thought it might blow something.
has anyone eles here used there tacho/rev counter wir from the ecu on these aftermarket dashes??

Right the magnets give the best result the more you place on the shaft to measure.
Ive indexed the adapter drilled with a six mm and epoxy pressed and hydraulicly locked them.

The tacho feed is the blue wire coiled round a plug lead and shrink wrapped or tapped and cable tied.
IT HAS NO DIRECT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION> IT IS INDUCTION THAT DRIVES THIS SIGNAL to the TACHO
IT HAS NO DIRECT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION to the HT!!!!
any way calvinix should know more he has had it connected
