wiring of a bob v6 cosworth

hi i'm planning putting a v6 cosworth into my sierra and was wondering what way to go about wiring it up.
as far as i know the bob version has a seperate engine wirng loom wit a plug connecting it to the car loom a bit like the zetec engine. but has anyone ever wired one that may be able to help me with some sort of wiring loom?

nope, the bob is a EECV engine. you want the BOA engine, pre j plate as the wiring is much like that of a zetec - self contained loom.

if you want help - u2u Big John ( the viper viento guy ) as they are experts at it.

the 24v is a good one to go for, i put on in my capri years back. very fast.

You could check out this site, mostly about the 24V engines, both BOA and BOB.

As far as I am aware the BOB engine has to have the loom and the ECU from the donor car, whereas the BOA can be cobled together, (mine is) Cheers Ray

To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
