Hi
I would remove the lot. Label it as you remove it from the Sierra otherwise its a bit of a job working out what went where six months down the line.
You may find this link useful as it explains ways around these problems.

Also don’t forget to remove the ignition amplifier module from the Sierra ( if it has one its normally bolted to the front inner wing )
Also if you have the injection head remember to specifically get the injection inlet manifold gasket. The injection head has bigger inlet ports. If
you try to use the standard gasket you can end up with air leaks!
Good luck

Is it?
Compared to buying a Westfield?
Cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

The gasket is available at your local Ford dealer. Just make sure it is the injection one...
Have a word with your local Webber rep/dealer when it comes to the inlet manifold. Dont forget they come in different lengths so get the right one.
Halfords are OK but as you say they are hellish expensive. Try Partco or TMS as they supply the trade as well as Joe public. I have found that they
are always willing to help providing you tell them what you are trying to do..
Cheers

Welcome Bulbul, may I introduce to Chris, the resident pisstaker (well, one of them)?
I would advise talking to Burton Power, or another Ford specialist with reference to the manifold. Some pinto-to-weber manifolds may not fit the
injection head correctly due to the cutouts in the ports for the injectors....
And have a look here, the Westfield club forum. Plenty of folk on there going
through the 'fun' that is an SDV build....
Cheers, Stu.
Dont just build it.....make it!
