Elite Delta Project
Hi,
Considering selling the delta project, purely to free up some space as i don't have a plan to race it in the next few months. Can only
concentrate on one project at a time.
A brief spec of the car:
AB Performance Kawasaki 2008 zx10 engine - done 3 laps qualifying behind safety car, and a 20minute bikesports at snetterton last year.
AB Billet Wet Sump and baffle plate - £500
Accusump
Mocal Oil cooler
Twin rad system.
Powercommander, mapped with 160bhp at wheels at Daytuner.
Titan Steering Rack
Inboard front and rear Pushrod setup.
Quick release Boss
AP Calipers And master cylinders
3 sets of compomotive wheels and brand new tyres. £2.5k worth
Quaife Chain drive differential, with a few different sprockets to trial.
Paddle shift with flat shifter to fit (not fitted at the moment)
Nitron remote reservoir two way adjustable dampers
Adjustable brake bias
Brand new digidash dash and logger ready to fit
Plumbed in Extinguisher
6 point FIA indate harness
Fia rain light
electric water pump
3 Piece Fibreglass bodywork
Aluminium honeycombe splitter
Covered trailer available as well to go with the car.
Various boxes full of spare springs etc...
Downside is it was built around me, (a very small person) larger people will struggle to fit without some modifications. Fit the dash/logger and its
ready to go, Could do with a bit of TLC on the bodywork front.
Thousands of hours went into this project and its a shame to be putting it up for sale, Not sure whether to split or sell complete, if anyones
interested give me a call or a u2u.

Probably because the body was once a global gt body but extended 400mm and with an added nose

Sorry to go off topic but why does it have canards? I was under the impression they are designed to divert airflow above wheels/ suspension etc but
they don't appear to be doing anything on that car.
Not trying to be arsey, just curious, thanks

Hi
Winglets on sevens can be for that purpose but canards (otherwise known as dive planes) tend to be to increase the frontal downforce. With the rear
wing and floor/diffuser, its very easy on the delta to set up the car with lots of rear end downforce but very little at the front. We made and fitted
the Canards to help balance this. Quite common on race cars.
Cheers

Hi,
Is still for sale?
How much is the asking price?
What is required to get the car ready for trackday use?

Ok but perhaps a rough idea on price as we could be 1 million miles apart in value. And wasting each others time.

Thank you for the offer Daniel.
I seen your car before for sale but it requires to much work for me.
Why do you wish to sell as you have only recently purchased?

You really do put people off by not having a price on an advert.
I bet 90% of people looking at it dismiss it as there's no price.
Even an "offers in region of" is more useful.

To be honest, if i split it, i think theres near to £10k worth in parts alone/parts i could use on building other cars etc.. So offers of £10k+ or
swaps, try me....

sometimes things just catch my eye and when they do,my gut instinct says buy!
ive found this is the best way for me to do my business, and all my cars up to now have been very very good.and ive not lost.,and usually made money on
all of them bar 1 which was a new build so understandable! this is slightly different though as i really like the ADR chassis design and have got
loads of nice bits for it including new motor and 11x center locking split rims with tyres!
another free bump for eddie and good luck this weekend!

I bet. Is that the project canned or are you now working on the next version?
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Concentrating all our efforts on the Elite Pulse, you never know though, we might venture back into similar style of car but it won't be for a
while.
