Theres some pictures of correct positioning of side repeaters in my photo archive ,"left engine bay" is the clearest .

could i have them on the scuttle as this seems to be the easiest place to locate them?similar to hellfire's postion?

They allow some leeway on positioning on our type of cars as the area they fasten to is further in than the outside edge of the vehicle. The side of the scuttle is o.k. as the light is not obscured by the front wheel or the rear arch when the car is viewed from an angle.
