indicator wiring problem

I spent last night wiring the indicators and lights but now have a problem. The hazard lights work as they should and the r/h indicators also work correctly but the l/h indicators do not work when the switch is thrown.
I am using the sierra column switches.
Can anyone help?

Hi Mate.

I can't help you, but I can sympathise.
I spent two weeks on and off trying to get my indicators working like they should.
It drove me fugin nuttttttts!!

Started afresh and now it all works Ok, But the bloody horn don't work now!!! LOL

Black/white= left hand ind
Black/Green= right hand ind
from the switch.
You could try changing them round see if it works then, If so then it's a broken wire or a dirty terminal on the switch.
( Thats what I had)

Id be suspecting the switch first. They can get knocked about when being dismantled from donor. I dont know the mechanical details of the sierra switchgear but ive had others where the terminals get knocked and dont touch. Switch moves and clicks into position etc but if the actual terminals dont touch......

Other thing to check is that you have continuity in case there is a broken wire.

Is there seperate fuse for LH and RH?
