size matters (Alternators)

Hi all

Whats the smallest and cheapest altenator? I have to move the location of my existing rover v8 unit and was trying to find a nice compact unit that wont break the bank

Thanks

Julian,

I'm using a Mitsubishi alt. Quite small - see pics in archive (if you nee measurements, let me know). 50 amps, so s/be ok for our purposes.

Cost was free - 2nd hand from friend, but works fine.

ATB

Simon
