Hazard warning switches
Bear with me I know nowt about electrickery.
Are the works for the hazard warning in the switch it's self or elsewhere?
I'm wondering if i can just get a switch I like the look of, or do I need matching "Gubbins" from the car?
Ta
Chris

error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

depends on the switch
Normally you'll need at least a flasher relay.
I can recommend the Haynes Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems Manual...

if you have a proper hazard switch then some of the circuit is contained within it. Youll also need a hazard relay.
If you have a Savage switch then the circuit is a little more complicated due to the internals of the switch. Seems there is two or three ways to put
this circuit together, but youll still need a hazard relay!
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

Would this be in addition to the indicator flasher relay?
I'm looking at the MX5 switch

I have a flasher relay, hazard relay, Sierra indicator stalk and a Savage hazard switch. Managed to put it all together with no diodes and it all seem
so work! Others have Diodes to stop feedback.
