you need a relay as the current draw is much higher

I am sure you have a reason for this... But why ???

Just out of interest..

and to answer your question...

Earth wire from the washer pump to a relay that powers the horn.

It avoids the need to wire the horn into a steering wheel centre push on an aftermarket steering wheel or the need for a seperate button on the dash.

If using Sierra stalks and not fitting a screen/wipers the stalk is redundant so it also saves having to cut the stalk off.

As above, you need to wire the horn via a relay due the current draw.

If you look on the back of the stalks the terminals have numbers. Pressing the washer button closes the contact between Rs53C and Rs54.

Either you need a relay or you need to rely on the fact that the contacts might burn out eventually and you'll need to fit new stalks. Considering how often I use my horn I'd happily fit it sans relay. The Sierra stalks are quite resiliant- just look at the wiring diagram how many of the lighting circuits don't have relays......

My air horns are wired throught the wiper push switch also.. just use the switch to power a realy.

Plan to use the other wiper functions to launch the anti tank missile system when I get round to fitting it.
