Rover V8 13cux ecu wiring

Chaps,

Those of you who've used the LR 13cux ecu and engine loom, could you please shed some light on whether you cut up the loom, modified it, or completely rehashed it, removing unnecessary bits.

Want the most simple route to get car back on road, so will be using the LR ecu etc etc

Cheers

ATB

Simon

Hello Simon, loom complete, you just connect at the bulkhead plug, shove the ECU and relays under you seat and everything should be a perfect length.

The power resistor box is important, this has very thick wires and would be a pain to shorten. If it has Lambda sensors you can strap these out, only used on very late UK cars but required abroad. I never cut up anything that new but have done both, I also ran one engine on a v12 Jag ECU as it got rid of the airflow meter but never achieved great success with that one.

Here's a write up
