SVA Fog light wiring
As the SVA now states that you can only turn on the rear fog if the lights are on dip/main beam, I am working out the changes to wiring.
I'm going to use a tap off from the dim/main relays (i.e the dashboard light feed) then run these into another relay on pin 85 (86 goes to
ground via the fog switch).
What I was thinking is that if I take the feed from the dim/dip dashboard lights and join together on pin 85, then when I turn on dim the main beam
dash light would also come on (and I guess send some power to the main beam). Would just putting in a diode on each line in to relay pin 85 stop this
fine?
e.g.
DIM -------->|-------85 87 to FOG
MAIN ------->|-------85 30 +BTTY
.......................86 GND
I guess >| is about as near to a diode I can get in ASCII

I just picked up on the brown wire, that connects the light switch to the dim/dip switch. This means for anything more than sidelights, I can turn on
the fog light.

D'oh. Far too obvious for me.
All wired up now properly to IVA new rules.
