R1 Loom

Any of you clever folks tell me why the main beam wire on my R1 loom is live when the ignition and kill switch are turned on even though I don't have the lights switch or that part of the loom connected? Where is it getting its feed from?
Long story but if you earth this wire it trips the starter solenoid and tries to start the car??
I'm not that clever when it comes to electrickery but can't see that I've done anything wrong as all i've done is extend a few wires to make it fit the car.
<Diagram can be found here>
Car starts and appears to run fine so it may not matter but I don't want to damage the ecu.

Does the bike have the headlight on whenever running? I seem to remember reading that somewhere, but don't know for sure as I took all the lights out of my bike loom.

your right adrian, I've just had a chat with Chris Mason who has just told me that.
