Zetec engine loom
Hi, all...
Got myself a new Zetec 2.0 blacktop on order, & have just acquired a complete engine loom (pics in archive).
Problem is that the loom is from a 1.8 Mondeo mk3, & can't tell if it's from a Zetec or a Duratec. Is there an easy way of telling?
(The ecu connector is a 104 pin eec-v style if that helps at all.)
If it is a Duratec loom, can I still use it? Will the ecu pinouts the same as for the Zetec, and if not does anyone have a Duratec pin list? Do Zetecs
& Duratecs use the same types of sensor plugs?
Either way, can anyone provide me with a list of sensors that come with the standard Zetec crate engine?
Can anyone identify which sensor plug is which from the pics? (Will add more pics soon.)
Any help appreciated. Endless searches have provided no answers so far.
Thanks.

Ok Ive had a look and its not >1999 zetec blacktop. That loom is running pre and post cat lambda sensors. I would say 1.8 duratec from a mk3
mondeo.
The ecu plug can be rewired but the pins that have not been ussed may not have been drilled so You may Not be able to wire it up as you need.
Some plugs look the same, others ive never seen. Ive not had the chance to do a duratec so cant tell you the pin numbers.
