Temp Gauge

Temp Gauge stopped working all of a sudden, checked the sender with a multi meter and it seems OK, I placed the wire going to the gauge to earth which should have sent the pointer on the gauge over to the right, it never moved.

Has anyone got any ideas and how should the gauge be wired, surely a live should be seen at the gauge???????????????

Hmmmmmm puzzling

I think that most temp gauges work by the sensor, (single wire), being a variable earth. So would guess that your problem lays at, or with, the clock, or its wireing. Check your actually getting power at the clock and if so it fubar. HTH Ray

Cheers for this I do beleive that the fault is that I have no power/live to the wire on the back of the gauge, I will try a temp live and see what happens.....Cheers
