Fusebox wiring

I am guessing this has been asked before but I can't find the answer.

What amp wire do I need to run from my battery to my fusebox for all the permanent live fuses?
Will it be the same wire from the ignition to the fusebox for all my switch live fuses?
I will be putting my radiator fan on permanent live if this will make a difference to the wire size I need?

Is it best to take the permanent live direct from the battery or from the starter?
