How to connect Savage Hazard switch?

Can anyone explain how I can connect the savage hazard switch? I can't figure it out. (I tried the "search" function of the forum, but that didn't give me an answer that helped me: I need an answer in "dummy" words).

Help?

Sorry to complicate, but consider the hazard flash and the backlight as two seperate issues.

Im using DD2. When ignition is off the indicator warning light doesnt illuminate so i had to connect savage back ligt as a haard warning light. I had to take live feed from one indicator circuit to the back light +ve vie a diode.

When wiring for indicator function you may need to tell us what the relay arrangement is for normal indicators and what indicator switch gear you are using (ie Sierra std ar a toggle switch).

The beauty of savege switchesare they are dual pole, bothe being seperate. So you wire left and right seperately to prevent them from being electricall connected but with the commons attached.

Ehm, what's DD2? But good point about the back light; I hadn't thought of that.

I'm using standard Sierra switchgear for the indicators, together with a Premier Wiring loom.

DD2 - DigiDash2 ETB's insturments for those with more money than sense

LOL, before i get flamed from darren, it is a lovely bit of kit.

Does the person you bought the switch from not know how to wire it. If you bought if from one of the manufacturers they would be my first port of call.

I'll try to dig out my wiring bits and see if I can remember how i wired mine.

I bought it last year at Stoneleigh, but don't remember the company's name. Might also be the manufacturer though, for all I know. There is a "manual" included, but that only gives the functions of the pins (common, N/O, N/C), but not explicity what wire should go where. And I don't even know what wires I have to use at all.
