R1 Battery, Generator

When using the R1 engine, do you use a different battery and generator/alternator setup to power the extra load from the car electrics, or does it cope without any changes?

Just use the R1 set up, should be fine.

I use the R1 set up with no problem. never need to charge the battery even though i hardly use the car
